A ribbon cutting will be held Tuesday morning for the Sevenoaks Avenue Multi-Purpose Pathway project. This is the 16th sidewalk and beautification project completed as part of the city-parish Green Light Plan. The work involved building a landscaped, six-foot wide sidewalk along Sevenoaks Avenue. The path, approximately a mile long, provides safer access for people walking between Lobdell Avenue and Goodwood Boulevard. The project also entailed the creation of seating areas with benches as well as pet care stations. The total work cost $360,736.
