April 21 -- LSU Executive Education will host its first “Breakfast to Business” event at Café Américain on Jefferson Highway. Registration starts at 7 a.m. and the event begins at 7:30 a.m. Robert Newman, chairman of the Department of Economics at LSU, will be the guest speaker, providing an assessment of the economic impact the stimulus plan will have on the local, regional and national level. April 23 -- Business Report and Junior Achievement will hold their 26th annual Business Awards banquet at 7 p.m. in the Crowne Plaza Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn Select). The event honors the top businesses and business leaders of the year, including inductees into the Business Hall of Fame. April 24 -- The Baton Rouge Black Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual awards banquet at 6 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn Select).
