Woman’s Hospital has been awarded $4 million in mitigation aid from FEMA, which the medical center will use to buy two emergency generators for its new campus. Woman’s will use the generators at its new campus on Airline Highway and Pecue Lane to ensure that it has power to provide critical health-care services during storms. The grant Woman’s received was part of $12 million FEMA gave for flood protection in St. Charles, Franklin and Jefferson parishes.
