The Mid City Merchants will host their annual fall shopping event, the White Light Night art hop, Friday night from 6 to 10 p.m. Strolling under the strings of white lights that give the event its name, art aficionados from all over the city can enjoy the offerings of the Mid City corridor. Over 150 participating artists will have their work on display for customers to browse through, and plenty of eats from various local restaurants and caterers will be served to sustain one and all. Hop the free shuttle vans from South 14th Street to Florida Boulevard to take in the full scale of this hugely popular event, which is free to the public.
