You might have heard something about this thing called the BCS national championship game happening on Monday night. Apparently there’s a local team playing in it, and come game time, LSU Tiger fans across the country are expected to be glued to TV screens at their homes or favorite watering holes. If you weren’t lucky enough to land tickets for the big game in New Orleans, 225 Dine has a few local suggestions for watching LSU bring home the title.
• The Bulldog: This Southdowns beer bar is a great place to catch a game—as well as enjoy a burger, wrap, and one of the dozens of types of beer on tap.
• The Chimes and Chimes East: Whichever branch of this Baton Rouge tradition is closest to you, make sure you swing by to swig down the exotic brew of your choice from their vast beer selection while you cheer on LSU.
• TJ Ribs: This shrine to LSU sports is a great place to enjoy a quality meal and cocktail while you watch the game on one of their big screens. We guarantee that many other Tiger fans will have the same idea.
