Just how much was the 10/12 corridor’s congressional delegation worth last year? Anywhere between $3.7 million and $12.5 million, according to an analysis by the Center for Responsive Politics. It pays to be a senator – the net worth of the corridor’s representatives was pegged at somewhere between $1.7 million and $5.9 million, while Sen. Mary Landrieu and Sen. David Vitter together were worth between $2 million and $6.6 million. Even so, Louisiana’s national pols didn’t bring in nearly as much bacon as their colleagues. At the top of the list: Representatives Jane Harman and Darrell Issa, both of California. Harman was worth anywhere between $236 million and $397 million; Issa, $160 million and $343 million.
