You can keep tabs on the East Baton Rouge Parish School System’s search for the next superintendent at a website the system’s communication office has created. At the site, accessible here, the system says you’ll find “pertinent information related to the superintendent search, such as candidates’ resumes, related documents and a schedule of upcoming public forums.” You can also leave comments and suggestions on the site. Board President Barbara Freiberg says the site will allow greater public participation in the search. “As I have stated in the past, we intend for this search to be an open process,” Freiberg says in a release. “That is why we have placed all information related to this search in one place. With this website, the public can view all information and become active in this process.
