Using point-of-sale touch screens located in the electronics department, Walmart shoppers can now purchase tickets for concerts and events at eight stores in the Capital Region. The retail giant is partnering with Ticketmaster to offer the service, in which customers select the events and tickets they want and Walmart employees help complete the transaction and print off tickets. In total, 31 Walmart stores in Louisiana have begun selling tickets. Participating Baton Rouge locations include those on Sullivan Road, O’Neal Lane, Cortana Place, North Mall Drive and College Drive, as well as stores in Baker, Denham Springs and Gonzales.
