Less than three weeks after floodwaters rose to roughly four feet inside of its building, Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar at Juban Crossing in Denham Springs will reopen on Thursday, Brandon Landry, co-founder and CEO of Walk-On’s Enterprises, announced today via Twitter.
Landry was not available for an interview before this afternoon’s deadline.
As previously reported, all of Juban Crossing’s tenants got nearly four to five feet of water when floodwaters overwhelmed Livingston Parish earlier this month.
At the time, Juban Crossing developer Stephen Keller told Daily Report that he hoped to have the 471-acre shopping development open again within 90 days.
Today, Keller says the development is on track to reopen in that timeframe and added that he will have more information in coming days.
Juban Crossing is home to big box stores such as Belk, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Academy Sports, as well as numerous of restaurants and a Rouses supermarket.
