Lafayette-based Waitr has entered into an agreement to acquire Delivery Dudes, a south Florida-based food delivery service founded in 2009, the companies announced today. The transaction is expected to close next week, with Waitr expanding its footprint with Delivery Dude’s already established teams of independent contractor delivery drivers along Florida’s east coast, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
