VooDoo BBQ & Grill has sold the franchise rights for a Denham Springs location and plans to open a restaurant in the city later this year. Tony Avila, one of the owners of the barbecue chain, says he can’t disclose a location because a deal hasn’t been signed yet. John Chen and Chip Gary own the franchise rights for the Denham Springs restaurant. This will be the 10th VooDoo BBQ location and fifth in the Capital Region. A VooDoo BBQ Express is set to open in the Mall of Louisiana food court by August.
