VooDoo BBQ & Grill has signed a deal with a franchisee to open its first restaurants outside of Louisiana. Kerr Management has an agreement to open eight restaurants in South Carolina. The first location will open in Greenville, S.C., this winter; other locations are planned for Anderson, Charleston, Columbia, Spartanburg and Rock Hill, along with Asheville, N.C. Baton Rouge-based VooDoo has 12 locations in south Louisiana. The company, which started in New Orleans in 2002, is set to open restaurants in Gonzales, Lafayette and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the coming months.
