Venyu, a company based in the Louisiana Technology Park, has been selected to provide virtual backup and disaster recovery by a company that handles broadband systems for business, industry and government customers. Terms of the deal with Spacenet were not disclosed. Venyu will help move data backup from outmoded tapes to a secure cloud storage system.
