Vantage Contractors, a Baton Rouge-based construction, maintenance and disaster recovery firm, has acquired Kelly’s Industrial Services, a Port Allen-based company specializing in right of way maintenance and vegetation management.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, as part of the deal, Vantage will add to its portfolio a series of assets from the 37-year old company, including its Port Allen headquarters, a fleet of specialty equipment and access to Kelly’s footprint, which covers the Gulf Coast region and beyond.
In a prepared statement, Vantage owner Brad Roberts says the acquisition allows his 15-year-old firm to accelerate its growth by increasing capacity, broadening service offerings and adding new clients.
“Vantage’s management team will be greatly enhanced by the addition of Kelly’s talented personnel,” Roberts says.
Representatives from the two companies were unable to be reached for further information before this morning’s deadline.
