The Louisiana Reentry Advisory Council serves as an advisory body to the secretary of the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections and the Louisiana Legislature. The council supports a systematic approach to identifying obstacles to successful societal re-entry for prisoners and the development and effective re-entry strategies that improve public safety.
