Baton Rouge Telco Federal Credit Union has purchased a 1.89-acre corner at Amite Church Road and La. 16 for $823,500, or about $10 per square foot. Chad Ortte and Chase Muller with Donnie Jarreau Real Estate negotiated the sale. The seller was AVI, represented by Harold Davidson, who was represented by his real estate broker, Kayla Johnson with Coldwell Banker One. This corner is heavily traveled and protected by a traffic light. According to Muller and Ortte, the purchaser wanted to be on the north side of Denham Springs to provide better service for their members and because a significant number of their employees live in the general area.
