The building that once housed Taco Bell on Plank Road in Baker has a new owner. The property sold last week to Limon Suliman Properties LLC. The new owner purchased the property for $230,000, or about $144 per square foot. The sale included the 1,600-square-foot building on an 80,000-square-foot site with paved parking. Some of the restaurant equipment was also included in the sale. The new owners intended to lease the building to a PoBoys Plus restaurant.

Jordan Johnson with Beau Box Commercial Real Estate listed the property and Andy Batson, also with Beau Box, acted as the selling broker. Batson says Taco Bell vacated the property several months ago and relocated to a new building near by. The old location was built in the 1980s and did not fit in the marketing plan, so it was put on the market as surplus property.
