The former Buddy’s advertising building on Industriplex Boulevard has sold. The 5,200-square-foot office building also had an adjacent 13,200-square-foot vacant lot that was part of the deal. The property sold for $465,000 and was brokered by Bill Simon of NAI/Latter and Blum. Bit’s Technical Corp. purchased the building to operate their computer-related sales and service business. The buyers intend to build a warehouse on the vacant lot to store parts and use the main building for administration, sales and service.

Shriver Investment Properties sold the A Plus Retail Center on La. 16 in Denham Springs to A Plus Retail Center LLC. Justin Langlois and Steve Legendre at Sealy Falgoust Real Estate brokered the property. The sale closed last week for a total price of $857,000. The center had a leaseable area of 6,000 square feet, so it sold for a total price of around $143. According to sources close to the transaction, this represented an almost 10% return to the owner, much better than the stock market is doing right now.
