The famous Reuters sign in New York City’s Times Square blazed with LSU pride last week as part of a Capital One Bank promotion promising to give away Tigers tickets for life to one winner. In all caps, the Times Square sign read, “Tiger Stadium is more than just a stadium … It’s a gumbo of Louisiana humanity.” A special Facebook page located here features a series of video vignettes for the promotion. The latest video features former LSU coach and All-American Jerry Stovall telling about a previously unknown locker-room episode from his playing days. A new video will be posted each week. Those who “like” the page will be entered into the bank’s ticket sweepstakes, with the winner getting two tickets to every home game for life.
