The Velvet Cactus announced Wednesday it has closed its Baton Rouge location. After shutting down for the Christmas holiday, the restaurant says in a post on its Facebook profile that it will not reopen. While it says that sales have remained steady through the pandemic, the restaurant blames its decision to close on rising costs
