The Ledge, a locally shot thriller starring Liv Tyler, Terrence Howard and Charlie Hunnam, has acquired a distributor. IFC Films will handle distributing the movie to theaters. No release date has been announced. The Ledge had its world premiere Friday at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival and triggered a bidding war among several studios. The movie, directed by Matthew Chapman, is one of 16 films selected for the dramatic competition at Sundance; the awards will be presented Jan. 29.
