Dr. Meredith Warner and Natalie Noel, founders of The Healing Sole, have launched a new hemp wellness company, The Well Theory.
The company offers products with hemp, CBD and other essential oils to help with pain management and synergizing the body. With the launch, Warner has released six products including a pain cream, pain relief spray, oil tincture and multivitamins.
While many other CBD products on the market only feature the cannabinoid, it was important to Warner to include other herbs and essential oils to her products that she feels can benefit the patient. For instance, along with CBD, her pain relief cream also includes lidocaine and menthol. Warner is also working on hemp products without CBD for those who may be uncomfortable taking the cannabinoid.
“The power of nature is incredible and safe,” says Warner, an orthopedic surgeon and former Business Report Influential Woman in Business honoree. “People die every day from mass-produced pharmaceuticals.”
For now, the products are available for purchase at Warner’s clinic and online, though she expects to later roll out the brand into retail shops. Online, she’s also offering a subscription plan for customers to avoid experiencing a gap without the product they need.
In the future, Well Theory will release a pain relief patch, a pain pill and anti-aging products.
“For us, it’s about getting people healthier in a natural way, getting away from injections and steroids,” Warner says. “I just feel like we can do a better job taking a more natural route, and help people age better.”
