Hotel Renovation — Renovations at the 22-story Marriott Hotel off Corporate Blvd. are nearly complete. The extensive remodeling project began in early 2016 and included the expansion of the hotel's 299 rooms.

A major exterior and interior renovation of the Baton Rouge Marriott Hotel was announced shortly after the hotel was purchased for $21.8 million in late April 2015 by New York-based AVR Realty Co. and Natchitoches-based Dimensions Development.
