The Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport Commission, consisting of nine Metropolitan Council appointees and four legislative members, functions in an advisory role to the Airport Authority. The Commission makes recommendations for a variety of issues, including proposed annual budgets, contracts for lease, land sales, services, fees and memoranda of understanding.
