Stinky’s Fish Camp, a popular oyster and wine restaurant from Florida, is opening its first Louisiana location this fall inside the Baton Rouge Marriott off Corporate Boulevard.
The open concept restaurant is on track for a September opening and will also provide catering and room service for the hotel.
Ralph Ney, the hotel’s general manager, says in a statement that Stinky’s Fish Camp, which will offer specialty drinks and Gulf-to-table cuisine, is an “excellent addition to the Marriott,” currently undergoing a $23 million renovation.
Once complete, the hotel will have new signage, expanded guest rooms and additional meeting space.
Stinky’s Fish Camp is operated by the Word of Mouth Restaurant Group. The Baton Rouge location will be the group’s fifth restaurant and second in Louisiana. The company also operates Trenasse in New Orleans.
