Funeral provider Stewart Enterprises has bought a funeral home and cemetery in Victorville, Calif. A price for Desert View Funeral Home and Memorial Park was not disclosed today. Stewart chief executive Tom Kitchen said the Jefferson-based company is pursuing an expansion strategy aimed at funeral homes with cemeteries and significant sales for both traditional funerals and cremations. Stewart now has 218 funeral homes and 141 cemeteries.
