Four years: This June will be the fourth anniversary of LSU’s last national championship in baseball as well as its last trip to Omaha, Neb., for the College World Series. NASCAR honoring Newtown: Two-time Daytona 500 winner Michael Waltrip will honor the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting by switching his car number to 26 for this year’s Daytona 500 on Feb. 24. He will also have a decal reading “text NEWTOWN to 80888” on his car, which can be used to donate $10 via text to the Sandy Hook School support fund. Click here to read more.
