A Metairie man has purchased a 12,000-square-foot office building on South Sherwood Forest Boulevard.

Elite Investment Group LLC, represented by Metairie real estate broker Jason Adams, purchased the tower from Sherwood Center 2010 LLC in a sale filed with the parish Clerk of Court’s Office Monday afternoon.

The sale documents for 3049 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd. list the price as $100 and other good and valuable considerations. The building sits on the east side of Sherwood Forest, between Justice and Bricksome avenues.

Brandon Brown, who managed Sherwood Center 2010 LLC, says he thinks Adams plans to update the building and continue leasing the six office suites, some of which are occupied.

Brown, of St. Francisville, says he and his father owned the building for about 18 years while occupying one of the suites. They recently moved their business and decided to sell, he says.

“We just felt it was time to move on, do something else,” says Brown.

He and his father are investors and owner-operators in a number of ventures, including home health businesses, nursing homes and multifamily housing.

Attempts to reach Adams for comment on his plans were unsuccessful. Adams is the founder and owner of Elite Southern Realty.
