The Shaw Group has been awarded a contract to provide management services to a Michigan nuclear power plant for the life span of the facility. The value of the deal with Indiana Michigan Power Company, an affiliate of American Electric Power, was not disclosed. Shaw will be responsible for engineering, procurement and construction services at the Cook Nuclear Plant in Bridgman, Mich., to ensure the facility can remain open for another 20 years.
