The three Baton Rouge riverboat casinos collectively saw a dip in revenue in July after two consecutive months of gains.
The Belle of Baton Rouge, L’Auberge Baton Rouge and The Queen earned $19.8 million in July, down 17% from the $24 million in June but up 2.9% compared to last year, according to the latest figures.
L’Auberge Baton Rouge brought in $12 million in July, down 20% from June and 14% from July 2023.
The Queen, which rebranded last fall after a renovation, brought in $7 million in July, $800,000 less than the $7.8 million earned in June. Despite the decrease from June to July, the Queen still saw an 87% increase in revenues from July 2023.
The Belle of Baton Rouge brought in $482,370, a 59.9% drop from July of 2023.
The state’s 15 riverboat casinos collected $138 million in July, a 10.3% drop from the previous month and 5.8% less than last year.
