Another big movie may be shot in Baton Rouge this fall. Secretariat, a movie starring Diane Lane about the Triple Crown winning race horse, is expected to shoot between Sept. 28 and Dec. 4, reports The Times-Picayune. Producers are scouting locations in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans for the movie and weighing which site would be the best. Lane, who has starred in moves such as Untraceable and Nights in Rodanthe would star as Penny Chenery, who owned Secretariat. It was also announced last week the alien invasion movie Battle: Los Angeles would shoot in Baton Rouge and Shreveport this fall.
