If you haven’t bought a ticket for Johnny Rivers’ premiere show March 20 at Baton Rouge High’s auditorium, tune in to KLSU at 1 p.m. Sunday and let Zia the Cat whet your appetite as he’ll interview the legendary Secret Agent Man singer, as well as play several of his songs. Also performing with Rivers will be Duke Bardwell and Kyle Ogle. The fundraiser for Baton Rouge Magnet High’s television program and two radio stations, WBRH and KBRH, starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $50 to $100 and available via manshiptheatre.org.
What else is going on tonight and this weekend? Chefs whip up their finest recipes at the Women’s Chef Show Off at the Sheraton Atrium, LSU Opera presents The Rape of Lucretia at the Reilly Theatre and plenty more indie rock shows for the Gas Food Lodging Festival.
