Along with all of East Baton Rouge Parish public schools, all Catholic schools, LSU, Southern University and Baton Rouge Community College have all announced they will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday due to Isaac, which is now expected to impact Louisiana at hurricane strength beginning Tuesday. The Dunham School, Parkview Baptist School and Episcopal, as well as Kenilworth Science & Technology Charter School, will all also be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. So, too, is the Southeastern Louisiana University campus in Hammond, as well as facilities in Baton Rouge. All schools say they will re-evaluate closure plans in the coming days as the storm passes and will make further announcements about classes on Thursday and Friday when it’s appropriate.
