Robert Schneckenburger, a veteran banker, has been named president of Chase bank in Baton Rouge. Schneckenburger replaces Kevin Kelty, who is stepping down because of health reasons. Schneckenburger has 27 years of banking experience, the last 18 of which he has spent with Chase and its predecessors. Most recently, he has been a senior banker working with corporate, government and nonprofit clients in Louisiana and Mississippi. Chase is the biggest bank in the Capital Region, with 34 branches and nearly $5.6 billion in deposits.
