Scaling solar: Exus Renewables North America has acquired development rights from German company ib vogt for four solar projects totaling 715 megawatts, including two projects in Louisiana totaling 405 megawatts. The projects are in areas with rising electricity demand from data centers and advanced manufacturing and are designed to include utility-scale battery storage. Employment holds: U.S. initial jobless claims fell by 1,000 to 197,000 last week, while continuing claims dropped to 1.7 million, the lowest level since March 2023.
