Former Louisiana governor and Republican presidential hopeful Buddy Roemer is once again trying to be included in a national debate, the Lafayette Daily Advertiser reports. Roemer, who has been excluded from every national Republican debate thus far, is asking his supporters to contact The Washington Post, Dartmouth College, Bloomberg News and WBIN-TV to ask those organizations to include him in the debate they’re hosting on Oct. 11 in Hanover, N.H. Earlier this year, Roemer moved to New Hampshire so he could campaign full-time in the early primary state; he officially announced his candidacy in Hanover. A Roemer supporter has started a website at www.letbuddydebate.org in an attempt to have Roemer included in the Oct. 11 debate. There’s also a “Let Buddy Debate” Facebook page here.
