Former Gov. Buddy Roemer, who is looking at running for president in 2012, will spend much of this week in South Carolina. Roemer will spend Tuesday through Thursday in Columbia, Myrtle Beach, Charleston and Greenville, meeting with the media and local activists, according to a schedule released today by his campaign. Roemer has said he will participate in a May 5 debate in Greenville, which is organized by Fox News and the South Carolina Republican Party. South Carolina is a key early primary state.
