Jeff Roedel has been promoted to editor of 225, the magazine’s parent company, Louisiana Business Inc., announced today. Roedel replaces founding editor Tom Guarisco, who is leaving to become communications director for the Louisiana Workforce Commission. Roedel most recently served as 225 entertainment editor. As the magazine’s editor, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the magazine and its online products. “Tom and Jeff have been a dynamic duo for 225 and produced an excellent magazine for the Capital City that has thousands of fans,” Publisher Julio Melara says. “We want to thank Tom for a great job and wish him the best in his new career. We also know Jeff has a passion for our city and is ready, able and eager to take on this new challenge. 225 is in good hands.”
