“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive … might. (Revelation 5:12) This is another one of the seven attributes that mankind gives to God in worship. Might is the power, authority, resource and capability to execute. Where does man receive this might, in order to give it back in worship? “Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O Lord, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone. Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.” (1 Chronicles 29:11-13) Ephesians 6:10 also implores us to “be strong in the Lord and the strength of His might.” Paul prayed in Ephesians 1:19 that we “would know what is the surpassing greatness of His power towards us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ when He raised Him from the dead …” When a believer realizes and receives the might God has given him and begins to make it operative by belief in his world, “he makes melody in his heart towards God.” (Ephesians 5:19) When worship begins at church or living out worship as a lifestyle, it is expressed in fulfillment of the Great Commandment, as “loving God with all your strength-might.” (Matthew 22:39)
