Red Stick Social at Electric Depot opened in April in the former Entergy facility on Government Street. Entergy donated the 104-year-old property, which spans some six acres, to the East Baton Rouge Redevelopment Authority in 2013 after it sat dormant for years. The redevelopment authority then connected with a private investment team led by Weinstein Nelson Development. The co-founder of the development company, Dyke Nelson of DNA Workshop, worked on the project design and development as well. (Tim Mueller)
