Once going for as much as $340,000, the Highland Hideaway condominiums are now nearly a third cheaper since a bank foreclosed on the development and put 19 units back on the market. “It’s not a steal of a deal, at [$249,000], but it’s still a good price,” says Tigue Bonneval, an agent at Beau Box Commercial Real Estate. Half of the 19 available three-bedroom, three-bathroom condominiums at 4637 Burbank Dr. are listed at $239,000. However, just a year ago the bulk of available condos were listed at $280,000, Bonneval says. Put on the market in 2008, Highland Hideaway—located near LSU, behind Courtney Place—is a gated community with a total of 38 units. —Adam Pearson Get more local real estate news from the new Real Estate Weekly e-newsletter here.
