On Monday, Raising Cane’s chicken chain founder Todd Graves and his family were joined by friends at their Baton Rouge home on the LSU lakes for the unveiling of a 1,200-square-foot, three-level treehouse built by Animal Planet’s “tree whisperer” Pete Nelson of the Treehouse Masters reality TV show.
Come next Friday, everyone will be able to see Graveses’ reaction, as well as their massive new treehouse—the largest ever built by Nelson and his crew—when they appear on the season finale of the show, which is dubbed “Biggest Build Ever” and airs at 9 p.m Central Time on March 6.
“I’ve always loved treehouses and my family and I are big fans of Pete and the show,” Graves says in a prepared statement provided to Daily Report. “Pete is the best and we knew we wanted him to design ours. This is going to be a great escape for our family to relax and spend quality time together.”
Constructed with reclaimed cypress from the New Orleans area over the span of about a month, the treehouse weights more than 75,000 pounds.
