Recent proposals before the Metro Council and the Legislature by representatives from Central seem to again raise the ugly issue of parochialism in East Baton Rouge Parish, Business Report Publisher Rolfe McCollister says. Metro Councilman Scott Wilson is backing a measure that would give Central, Baker and Zachary each a designated seat on the BREC and library boards.
