The Providence Corporate Cup, which annually draws an estimated 1,500 runners to downtown Baton Rouge, will return for its 27th year on Saturday, March 21, event organizers have announced.
The event will once again include a 5K for individuals and company teams, with the proceeds to be donated to the Big Buddy Program and the Mid City Redevelopment Alliance.
“With the 27th year ahead of us, we continue our intense focus on corporate health, wellness and prevention as our platform. We are the only race in the area focused on corporate wellness, fitness and general illness prevention as a philosophy of business,” reads the event webpage, at which registration is now open.
Returning this year is a cook-off challenge, with bonus points will be awarded to those who submit healthy entries. There’s also an obstacle course planned.
Beginning this year, no paper registration entries will be accepted. All registrations must be submitted online. Get complete event details and register to participate.
