Work continues at the renovation of the Hammond Square mall. During the summer, major tenants such as Target, Best Buy and Raising Cane’s are set to open standalone stores. An open air lifestyle center, anchored by Books-A-Million and featuring smaller retailers, will be completed by September or October. Stirling Properties is the developer, while HKW Associates of Birmingham, Ala., is the architect for the lifestyle center and Hoar Construction of Birmingham is building the lifestyle center.
