In a profile of Gov. Bobby Jindal featured the forthcoming issue of National Review magazine, Jim Geraghty poses the question: “So, how did one of the worst-run states end up with a governor doing so well that no opposition lawmaker wants to even try to run against him?” Titled “The Storm-Calmer,” the profile focuses on Jindal’s rise in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, as well as his work on ethics reform, economic development and education since taking office in 2008. The issue doesn’t hit newsstands until Oct. 31, but you can read an advance copy of the full article here.
