Employees of Primo’s Steak & Italian Restaurant were told earlier this week that the upscale restaurant was closing its doors May 16, as reported earlier today in 225 Dine here. Insiders say the decision came after an issue with the lease. Owner Charles Noto is reportedly working to move his restaurant to a location in Zachary, most likely near Sammy’s Grill. The restaurant won’t be the same caliber of Primo’s upscale atmosphere, but will have the same staff and crew.—Rebecca Breeden
