Despite the comments at this year’s Trends seminar about the strong market for homes priced above $400,000, Real Estate Weekly readers say the action is happening at the starter home end. Forty-five percent of people who responded to an online poll say the strongest segment of the local single-family housing market is the $100,000 to $225,000 range. Thirty-four percent say there’s more action going on in the $225,001 to $300,000 range, while 12% say the heaviest activity is in the over $400,000 range and 9% say the $300,001 to $400,000 range is busiest. More than 100 people participated in the poll.
This week’s question: Have you noticed any changes in Capital Region home prices since the start of the year?
