First Financial Bank and Trust has acquired all of the assets of Texas Country Bank, which is based in suburban Austin. The two branches of Texas Country reopened today as First Financial. Details of the transaction were not released, but Texas Country had about $45 million in total deposits and two locations. The deal doubles the number of locations of Plaquemine-based First Financial, which now has about $130 million in assets.
