General Media Communications, publisher of Penthouse magazine, announced today it’s turning The Gold Club Cabaret into The Penthouse Club Baton Rouge, with a grand opening slated for Friday. The Bennington Avenue club will be “entirely remodeled,” according to a release by the company. Ownership and management will be shared by the licensee of The Penthouse Club New Orleans, which is located on Bourbon Street. “This city has a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, which is what guests will experience,” says Jeff Stoller, director of Global Club Licensing for the Penthouse brand. “The club is a perfect blend of sophistication and southern Louisiana hospitality.”
